There were two touchbacks in Lambeau Field last year.

Last night, there were how many? 8? 10?

The new kickoff rule is going to ruin the return game, except for the occasional Cobb-like play.

It's a higher risk/reward.....but if a team is that confident in their return team and returner - maybe we'll see more plays like Cobb's. Not necessarily the result, but that they'll take the chance taking it out.
Conversely, teams with good coverage teams against so-so returners could elect to try to kick it to the goalline and force a return.

I may be in the minority, but this change still doesn't bother me much.
Elite returners still can field punts and take chances returning from deep.....the majority of returns seemed to wind up between the 18-23 or so anyway.....to me taking those out doesn't ruin the game. If anything it could wind up creating more strategy (what I was mentioning at the top).
