That's weird. This "event" was for the Nationals rookies, but Strasburg was a rookie last season.

That's weird. This "event" was for the Nationals rookies, but Strasburg was a rookie last season.
Did he get the hazing event last year? If not probably should have this year.

If the hazing takes place during this same time... Sept 11th or so.... he wouldnt have been hazed last year since he was out with injury.

this year's return is who cares. Strasburg's return in front of the nats fans was not in front of a sellout crowd and MLB Network decided to televise Braves/Phillies instead of Nats/Dodgers (but did show some of Nats/Dodgers during the rain delay).
I have a feeling Strasburg may be the new Greg Maddux from here on out. Won't overpower you to rack up the strikeouts like he did in his rookie season before he blew out his elbow but probably will be an effective pitcher.
