Kershaw has 18 wins (Kennedy has 19)
Tied with Cueto for lead in era.
And dominating in strikeouts.

Here are the recent NL Triple Crown winners:

1985 - Dwight Gooden, New York Mets - 24 wins, 1.53 era, 268 Ks
2002 - Randy Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks - 24 wins, 2.32 era, 334 Ks
2007 - Jake Peavy, San Diego Padres - 19 wins, 2.54 era, 240 Ks

This may be an obvious statement, but all of those pitchers won the Cy Young. I am still hearing people say Halladay or Lee. Kershaw should absolutely be the Cy Young award winner this season.

You can't tie in ERA unless you have the same IP and earned runs allowed.

This post actually made me look at the stats. Fascinating to see that Hallady and Lee have the same exact ER and IP stats.
