2002 - Randy Johnson, Arizona Diamondbacks - 24 wins, 2.32 era, 334 Ks
2007 - Jake Peavy, San Diego Padres - 19 wins, 2.54 era, 240 Ks

This may be an obvious statement, but all of those pitchers won the Cy Young. I am still hearing people say Halladay or Lee. Kershaw should absolutely be the Cy Young award winner this season.

This post actually made me look at the stats. Fascinating to see that Hallady and Lee have the same exact ER and IP stats.
