So I just got off the phone with a buddy of mine.
He went as a guest of a business associate to last nights Yankee game.
Since they were the other guys tickets, my friend paid for dinner, numerous drinks, and then after the rain out a few more dinks and "dances" at a popular NY City "club".
Today the guy with the tickets calls him to ask if he wouldn't mind NOT going tonight because it is Saturday night and he had a date with his girlfriend, who he is now taking to the Yankees game instead of my friend.
Thought it was pretty funny, as my buddy is a little pissed, although he can well afford to go to the game if he wants to.
Just wanted to share...
