I caught the Finest bug back in '06. Every year since then, I've tried to build the entire Dodgers rainbow, excepting the 1/1s - I pick those up if possible, but I don't stress over getting them.

If anyone has any of the ones I'm missing, feel free to get in touch!

I had a pretty decent mailday today, so here's the progress. Sure wish the blue refractors hadn't been dropped from the product.

Great stuff. I love this year's set. I've got the Upton red and orange on the way so far. Hoping to nail down the gold, green, and Xfractor soon. The base and refractor will be easy any time. Haven't even seen a single upton purple or die cut.

I have a Matt Kemp Refractor 407/549 if you need it.

Also, are you going after any of the parallels?

I have a Jerry Sands Green Refractor Auto 081/199 and a Dee Gordon Dual Relic Auto 072/499.

I'm sure we could work out a trade.

Alex, there are five out there, so that leaves three of them for other collectors. Somehow, we'll both get ours.

The purples are going to be tough. I got outsniped on the only upton I've seen last night and I thought I'd have it easily. Hopefully I'll live to see another

couple additions. These are the first cards to arrive at my new address. There should be one more - the /5 purple Dee Gordon was supposed to arrive almost two weeks ago, but it's MIA. The seller isn't the most cooperative - he shipped it with insurance, but has no other way to otherwise track it. We're both protected, but with supply pretty much dried up, I'm worried I won't see one of the other four purples for quite some time. Screw the money I paid, I want my card!

Anyway, here's what arrived in yesterday's mail.

Nice stuff. If you're interested I have the entire 2010 Kemp rainbow besides I believe the blue /299. Just lazy in not finishing it. Can be had for a couple bucks on eBay. Purple 1/1, Red 25/25, Gold 10/50, Green 94/99, Ref 158/599.

here's what the last couple of maildays yielded. Took almost a month for the purple Gordon to arrive. With supplies seemingly dried up, I'm sure glad it finally made it.

got this /10 Sands the other day. The previous two both went for over $40 - I was able to pick this up on a BIN for half that. Tried to pick up a /25 red Sands today, but it went for $74. WTF?

This is also my first successful attempt at creating a transparent background using Adobe Elements. My previous tries didn't work - apparently saving the finished image as a .jpg doesn't fly. This (and the Ethier & Kemp diecuts in the first post) were saved as .png files. Elements seems like a pretty darn powerful tool. Wish I had the time to sit down and really see what it can do.
