Just curious if there are any 1998 Donruss Crusade experts out there who can answer this.

I know that cards 101-130 were inserted into packs of 1998 Leaf Rookies & Stars. I also dug up an old 1998 Donruss Series One sell sheet and found the checklist of the 40 Crusades that were seeded into that product.

(OBTW, if you'd like to double-check that list: http://www.baseballcardpedia.com/index. ... ss_Crusade)

Of the 60 left, which specific Crusades were available in 1998 Leaf and which were in 1998 Donruss Update?

Also, if anyone has any info on the post-Bankruptcy "backdoored" Crusades, I'd appreciate it.

Whatever happened to the Tony Clark collector who put that wonderful Crusade website together? And what was the site anyway?

What info are you wanting on the backdoored cards? Most players that were in cards 1-130 were slated to be in the next sets, only if they were a regular Crusade they would then have a Call to Arms card, or vice versa. However, I've seen at least one player that had two different Call to Arms designs.

Don't have a checklist of backdoored cards (never seen one) but do have about 15 scans of cards above #130.

In my experience, Greens above #130 have around 5 copies each and Purples and Reds are harder to find, maybe 1 of 1.

I used to have a long blog article about Crusades on the FCB blogs, but those got deleted.

Here's some regular and backdoor rainbows...
