Stumbled across this in a completed items search on eBay

Have you ever seen this Card before or knew it existed ?
If I saw this live I would have went after it.

Pretty cool card. The theme is similar to the 49 87' Donruss cards
McGwire signed in tribute to the 49 Home Runs In 87 as each card
Was inscribed the date and number of HR

I would assume this is a Rare Card?

I picked one up a few years back for a much lower price, but I have no idea what the story is behind it.

I would assume Mattingly did a lot of baseball card shows in the 1980s and this was probably some kind of card done through a promoter who planned to market the cards through various hobby outlets.

I thought it was from Shop At Home or another one of those TV shopping shows.
