Is this not correct? If a player has a chrome card in each set, it is still his "1st chrome card" in that particular set.

Bowman w/ Chrome - 1st chrome card
Bowman Chrome - 1st chrome card
Bowman Draft - 1st chrome card

From reading posts in threads it seems like many don't know this.

B w/bc and bc have continuous numbering, so I wouldn't agree w u on this.

But technically, bdp is a different product because its card numbering is unique to that product.

Sadly, yes Topps tries to make this a continuous set by picking up the card numbering scheme from Bowman w/Chrome to BC, but dont you think that you would not change the freaking design of the cards in one set vs the other?

Paralles are serial numbered differently, refractors are silver bordered in Bowman w/chrome but they are white boardered in BC...etc...etc...etc.

This also assumes they know where the transition point starts. When they dont (2009) you get clear stickers on the backs of the cards, and they get cataloged in beckett as 114, 114a, 115, 115b etc..etc...etc.

First Leaf card
First A&G card
First Topps card
First Topps Marquee card
First Valiant card
First Triple Threads card

Yeah they're all pretty artificial. Another logo or designation to try to make some money off of LOL - buy the card and not the logo!
