An odd way to wrap cards for shipping

I bought a Chrome Alonso Base Auto and Ref Auto and this is what was taped around the toploaders:

yeah the cards are bare, no penny sleeves or anything protecting them, just tape on the cards themselves ::facepalm::

I've had that before, but they're normally 92 Topps or something totally worthless, not brand new cards.

No worries, it's only Yankee & Philly cards :lol:

oh definitely, its a great way to get rid of commons but when I saw the Banuelos and that it was a chrome, it def. made me ::facepalm::
