Same here. I think it's great.

It'd be really interesting to see what writers do in 6-7 years if, by some MIRACLE, he gets to 300 wins.

He might be the Tommy John of our generation though.

I'm a little bummed the Mariners didn't offer him an invite but I understand since there are already several candidates for the back-end of the rotation.

Best of luck to Jamie! Always a fan favorite.

BTW - Does anyone know if 2005 Prime Patches is his only Mariners certified auto?

The only non-Royal I will be emphatically rooting for. I think it's awesome he is pitching at his age. I want to see him pitch at 50 (he would have to pitch again next year to do that - his B-day is in Nov.)

He has several certified autos..

I used to have this one..
