im sure we'll know soon enough. The original '87 Mini's were glossy on "tiffany" stock

Now what topps should do is replace the tired old rehashed "opening day" product w a 200 card modern day heritage set featuring 1987 design on original (cheap) stock @ $1 a pack.
Throw in some "errors" (aka variations) & now youre talking.
1987 was the yr the hobby really started to go nuts & just every kid bought zillions of these cards.

I just sent a question to the seller on eBay and he said they are exactly like the original 1987 cards. So same 1987 backs.

that depends on the paper stock used. if its the same as 2011 Topps, then the backs will be too "bright" and have a tiffany/traded appearance

I will be putting this mini set together. 1987 Topps is my favorite set of all time even though it came out 8 years before I was born. I put together the whole set of 87 Topps which is a ton of cards with cards people gave me! I will be putting together this mini set!!
