Morning all. First day of the semester. Get to go in first thing and justify my request (desperate pleading) for more hours. They have turned me down each of the last five semesters, so maybe the sixth time is the charm? :?
I also get to act pleased that they have just hired two or three new employees to compete with for hours.
I am going to be recruiting students like a demon this semester. In order to ensure that I get them on MY schedule I have to literally (and yes, I literally mean "literally") walk them in the building and stand there with them while they fill out paperwork. Otherwise, they will be poached by others. :x
