There are 470 cards in serious one? I thought it only goes up to 330.
There are 330 in Series 1.They did the variants similar to 2010 where they included some Series 2 cards in Series 1.When Series 2 releases it will have normal cards for the numbers above 330.

Once the initial hype does off, where do these variations usually settle? I've got to get an Upton at some point but I'm not paying current prices.

Remember the Jeter in 2007? Early ones were getting $300 plus, now barely 5% of that.

You should be able to score the Upton for $10-$15 no problem.Like Eric said wait a week or 2 before buying. This weekend there will be a ton of stuff on Ebay as the hobby version of the product is busted in quanity. You may be able to score a cheap BIN with people undercutting each other trying to recoup some cash.

Some great (& funny) photos on some of those.
While I miss the Legends I do like that they used some fun and goofy photos for the variants.

I was thinking the same thing yesterday (about missing the vets) but honestly Topps I, II, and Update should be "fun" products to open. These variations are an attempt at that.

Out of 12 jumbo cases I ended up with 28 total short prints.

Sadly I didn't see a Reyes or Pujols...they appear to be the super sps.

Agreed.

Brent got 1 Reyes and 0 Pujols out of 60 Jumbo Cases
