Verlander No Hitter broken up in 9th

Are people really not aware that this isn't his first? He almost had 4 last year. One actually happened and three made it to the ninth. If he gets this one it will be 3 so far for him.

No, for whatever reason I was thinking perfect game. It was a slip. Do people really need to try to put others down?

I watch almost every Tigers game and Verlander seems like he could throw a no hitter every time out. The guy is flat out the best in the game

I have no idea. When I went to edit the original post, I went to Go Advanced and I was able to change the title there.

Another incredible performance by the best in the game.

What sucks is that the hit came on the fourth UGLY swing of the at bat for Harrison...it wasn't by any means a solid hit anywhere, it was a lucky shot where he just hung with the pitch and got just enough of it to bloop it out of Peralta's reach into Center.

Still one hell of a game for Verlander, 12 Ks and a complete game shutout. I bet he gets his 3rd career no-hitter at some point this season.
