he already looks like a 5 year veteran and i doubt he ever sees the minors again.
Has yet to slump in any major way, and his hustle is crazy.

I will also come out of the No way Harper should be up corner. He plays the game the right way. I know this will make someone mad but with his hustle his age and his plate discipline he could possibly be in the top 10 all time hits. It is early and I may be crazy but he is showing no signs of slowing down.
THIS IS MY 2500th POST!

I have been as critical as anyone on Harper, both his performance and his hobby position. But his talent/potential I have never doubted. I am very pleased to be wrong here and to see him doing very well at such a young age makes me happy. He is good for the sport and simply enjoyable to watch.

I have to admit as well, I love the all hustle no showboat approach he has now. I hope that never changes because he appears to have enough talent to make a huge impact on baseball going forward.

I agree as well. I like watching the kid play. That was awesome when he turned that single into a double yesterday by taking advantage of Heyward half assing it in right field. Nice to see a guy go 100% on every play. He reminds me of Carlos Gomez with about a 50 times better bat. They both are always going all out on ever play. Good for baseball.

I've also been pleasantly surprised by the way he's carried himself thus far. Hope it continues for years. Its also nice to see the Nats young talent getting national exposure. A few LESS Yankee broadcasts is never a bad thing!

Heyward has shown that he doesn't have the #want to be great.

This was one of the best plays I've ever seen in baseball. Not because it was a difficult thing to do, but simply because it sends a message from Harper to the entire baseball world that this is how the game is supposed to be played...if you start playing it like I do, then maybe you'll turn singles into doubles too. And if you don't watch out, I'm going to make you look like a complete fool by purely out-hustling you.

I hope he keeps that stuff up, it's great for the game.
