Through the first six picks, they've already compared two players to Adam Jones. Not a knock on anybody, just something interesting I've noticed.

And Kershaw, and the Uptons, and Kevin Brown. It's for the viewers who have a hard time understanding projectability. The need an image to see what these guys MIGHT do.

The Pirates have a chance to have three top-fifteen pitching prospects to start 2013. Depending on how far this draft fall hurts Appel in the rankings.

As far As pitching farm system, who would do rather have now, Pittsburgh or Seattle?

Have to like the outlook in Pitt ( at least as far as pitching goes)

Alex, you WILL like this kid Heaney. I wish he'd went to the other Florida team. I call him the best lefty in the draft.

The most interesting one, for me, so far was the pitcher who was compared to Jarrod Parker. People more involved in following baseball may understand the comparison, but I'm not sure the average fan is familiar with a rookie pitcher with 8 starts in the Majors.
