Seth Streich to the A's in the 6th round! Sweet! He's been a great friend the past three years.

And that's him throwing in my sig with all the scouts. We were playing Buffalo that day and there were tons of scouts to see Seth and Tom Murphy.

Does the draft tracker have a custom search this year? There are a lot of guys that I was hoping would get drafted today and I don't know how to find them short of reading every draft pick.

7th Round by Diamondbacks

Much earlier than we all expected. Still nice to see local kids get drafted.

Damn, the Red Sox like those pitchers, eh? Looks like a couple might be future closers, definitely not a bad thing! JP which [Sox] pitcher do you think has the most upside?

There goes Hunter Virant, to the Astros.

11th round.

Pretty sure he's college bound.

Trey Williams to the Cardinals, 11th round. Another guy likely headed to school.

As an O'Brien fan (and investor) and a Redsox fan, I have mixed feelings. No better market than if a guy goes to the Yankees, and I'm happy for him as I know him personally. But they've got multiple other great catchers in their system already

I hate the Yankees, but I do like O'Brien and have one huge card of his. So, this was a pleasant surprise. I figured he'd be in the mix for them, what with them having an affinity for offense-first catchers. None of the guys that would be ahead of him are locks to stay at catcher, so it's wide open.

Only guy I know of that I was following that got drafted was TJ Oakes. He was taken by the Rockies.

I am upset that I have to look through every draft pick for my players... stupid MLB.

Try BaseballAmerica.com Draft Database. Will probably be much quicker for you.

Anybody else hit jackpot tonight on their listings? I did MUCH better than expected with Travieso going so high and Almora going to the Cubs. And then a guy who I didn't list anything for in Brian Johnson goes to the Red Sox. I have so much Brian Johnson I'm not even exactly sure what to do right now. Finally able to unload a mountain of 2010-11 USA BB. Even base chromes are getting attention.

Teams that have had the best drafts with cheating the new CBA system: Rangers, Nationals, and Astros.

MLB cant be happy with how this played out.

A senior position player was offered a $800.00 contract yesterday and was picked in the 10th round.

Damien Magnifico!

Great name. Hits 100 MPH. Unfortunately, it has no life on it.

Taken by the Brewers in the 5th.

I saw Magnifico pitch against the Mountaineers. Didn't realize how fast he was throwing, but it was the best game he threw last summer.

So far I have seen five former Mountaineers get picked.
