Manti Te'o, his dead girlfriend, and lies

He insinuated it, but never said it. There are so many questions that need answered. He went as far as he could without saying the word LIE. He's a good reporter, he can't just go around calling people liars and assuming everything. We all know how it looks and so does he. We have nothing to lose, he has his credability at stake. Which is how he makes a living. If you were a reporter, would you publish your opinion without knowing all the details? If so, you wouldn't be employed for long.

This is one of the most messed up story I can remember in a long time.

1. Wouldnt you think, if this was an online girl, that he would want to meet her at sometime?
2. If she said she had cancer...and she might not make it, If I were him, I damn sure would have gone to see her, wouldnt you?
3. Wouldnt his family wanted to meet this girl at some point?

Also, just heard his interview in October...The first thing he said was "The most beautiful girl I EVER MET...but if she was online...He never met her?

"You meet a woman online but initially gave the impression that you actually met and dated in 2009. You made no effort to correct numerous stories that eluded to you meeting her. She gets into a car accident. You do not go see her. She gets diagnosed with leukemia. You do not go see her. She passes away and there is a funeral. You do not attent that funeral. You talked about sending her white roses and there is no receipt no anything that we know of. You talk about a casket that is closed at 9 AM. How do you know it was closed at 9 AM if you were not there? There is just a bevy, a plethora of questions that simply make no sense." Bottom line is Teo is full of it. The thing was made up to boost his Heisman chances, who doesn't fall for a good story like going out and winning a game for a lost loved one? I'm not sure it hurts his draft status as much as his play on the field does. If Ray Lewis can go out and murder someone and be celebrated by the NFL, surely a story of a guy dating imaginary chicks won't phase them

To all the people thatactually think that Teo is the victum of a hoax, think about this:

1. She was his "gf" for 3 years, yet they never met
2. She was in a car accident, yet he never went to see her
3. She got cancer yet he never went to see her
4. She died of cancer, yet he never went to hospital or the funeral
5. He played a game at USC, yet never tried to find the grave site
6. He got an address to send flowers, yet no proof that flowers were ever sent
