As I am planning things for the near future on FCB I thought I would ask this question first.

What about fcb do you dislike the most?

Please, leave user names out of this and keep everything about the website and not about any specific member.

The transaction boards seem pretty slow here, especially if you aren't buying or selling prospects. I enjoy trading for my team and sets, but 9 times out of 10 I have to go to other boards to do that.

Are you looking for information primarily related to functionality?

Ideally, things I can fix. I can't fix the mindset of the users. However nothing is off limits as long as it isn't just posted to start a fight.

The thing I dislike is that I have to say as long as it isn't posted to start a fight. That cannot be fixed either.

More Phil. And cowbell.

In all seriousness, probably the lack of traffic. I'd very much like to see a celebrity/athlete join these boards. Anyone remember how much traffic Phil Hughes brought to the old BMBs? I'd very much enjoy seeing Logan Morrison post here - dude's hilarious.

Maybe there are too many different forums and they should be consolidated. A move like the might promote more discussion on topics that are interesting but get missed because of tendencies to head to a particular section of the board.

I only post from my phone, so this might be a Safari issue. But I have massive problems with the board software.

Things just seem overly user surly. I can't even post pics using IMG tags like every other board.

LOL, actually I'd propose the opposite and have a separate board for MLB and another for the MiLB. If this couldn't be done, perhaps there's a way to tag individual posts so that members would only be able to see what their interests are automatically.

Two things I dislike:

1. The size of signatures and the fact that the "rules" regulating the size are never enforced.

2. When someone repeatedly starts crap to the point that they chase off legitimate posters. This in particular. I understand that from time to time there are spats that flare up (i've been in a few) but when others start questioning why someone isn't banned repeatedly, then the mods or you need to step up and pay a little more attention.

http://www.freedomcardboard.com/forum/itrader_main.php

feedback is alive and well

I lack the authori-tay to access that page, apparently.

Also, if we could keep the Warhammer 40,000 forum and scrap all the rest, I think all of us would be appreciative.

The Prospect Heavy, Money First Mindset that most of the posting members have.
I agree.
The site used to be more balanced between collectors and investors.
And based on the number of responses in threads, people seem to be more excited about meeting a Double-A player than an actual Major Leaguer.

Also, it's sad when a thread about a star retiring or a Hall of Famer dying gets less than ten responses, but a thread about a minor leaguer hitting two home runs or gettig promoted from A to AA gets multiple pages.

I certainly don't dislike prospectors, and I was one for a few years in addition to my normal collecting.
I just wish there were more collectors.
But I guess that's the state of the hobby now.
I still visit this board every day and like it a lot (even though the new iPhone app still won't work on my 4S).

Couple things. iPhone App user here. How do you start a new thread? And when I click the forum button it kicks me out of the app.
