We went out last night for a work function at the wife's PT job. Hit up a bar, then went bowling and then some more bars. She got wastypants and is paying dearly for it today. I don't feel too bad. My hangover cure is beside me, but haven't used it for a while. Glass of Pepsi with ice has always worked wonders for me.

A buddy of mine takes two ibuprofen and drinks a glass of milk before he goes to bed on a night of drinking. Swears it'll prevent a hangover no matter what.

Good morning boys!

My new baby. Drove 280 miles round-trip to get the best car/deal around here.

Aspirin/Tylenol actually makes it worse. It thins your blood a little and actually helps you get more drunk. I honestly think whatever you think works actually works the best. I guess a placebo? If you have faith in it, you believe it works. I swear by my Pepsi and ice, but others think I'm crazy. I have a buddy that drinks a glass of milk. Said it coats his stomach or something. All I can think of is that milk curdling from the alcohol and I think that sounds gross.

Chas, glad you got a deal. I drove to Bolingbrook to buy the Commander.......mainly because there were only a handful FS within 200 miles of me.

This is my dream vehicle. Unfortunately, I have the F*RD equivalent. It even has a topper on it:benson:. BUT, it's got dual, so at least it sounds like I'm driving a real truck.

Thanks guys!

Yeah G, this dealer north of Milwaukee had more of this model to choose from than several local dealers combined.

Dave, it is the Touring package, which is mid-level.

It has the 3.6 liter v6, premium cloth two tone interior, 8 way power seat, heated mirrors, moon roof, 7" touchscreen, climate control, 40gb hard drive for music and pics, and the balance of the factory warranty, plus an additional year from Chrysler...:)

Definitely worth the extra miles driven to get it.

Morning all! Woke early with my baby girl (which was later than normal, she woke up at 8!). Now just hanging out with her and going I watch some basketball later on. I'll probably try and get some eBay auctions up since i got that free listings email.

As promised, here's pics of the progress made on my Mets Man Cave (MMC) before the flu/pneumonia took my wife and I hostage:

It's killing me to sit here getting over the pneumonia knowing that I could be working on this but oh well.......
