Good stuff! I didn't want to pay full price - was waiting on my offer when they disappeared. Glad a board member got them!

That's funny, I had an offer out on them as well! Put one on all three combined, then ended up buying the Rolen State Rep outright, and making a second offer for the two Die Cuts. I didn't want to run the risk of someone grabbing them before my offer was accepted, and I was off to work and couldn't keep checking. I was very happy when I got home and found out they took my offer. $21 total for the three, I was happy.

Weren't there only a handful of the Exec Promos made of each card?

Anyone know anything about these 1 card packs? Tuff Stuff insert maybe?

Is it marked promo/sample on the reverse or is there any distinguishing marks on the reverse? I saw when that pack got listed on ebay, but I stayed clear, just b/c I thought it may be just a common base card in a cellophane sleeve. If it's different though, I'd say you have something fairly rare b/c I've never seen a sample or promo of that particular card before.

Not marked, but I haven't had time to compare it to a pack out. I think it was likely a Tuff Stuff insert as it has the same type of cellophane wrapper that I've seen before. Many of the TS inserts were just regular base cards though.

Resurrecting this from the dead because of an interesting show find today. I picked up a 1989 Scoremasters Sample Roger Clemens, which is not cataloged by Beckett, and doesn't seem to exist other than in a few old Worthpoint links. Hoping a promo expert will know something about this.

If there's an easier way to see sold items on COMC, I don't know it; this is how I do it. Pull up the listing of a card from the same set you want to see (doesn't matter what card, as long as the set is the same). Click on it, and then manually change the info in the address bar. In this case, you'll get to

http://www .checkoutmycards.com/Cards/Baseball/1998/Pinnacle_Hit_It_Here_Samples/5/Barry_Bonds/2205216

Go into the address bar and delete the card #, player name, and the COMC number, then type just the card number you want to see (for Belle, 6). You get

http://www .checkoutmycards.com/Cards/Baseball/1998/Pinnacle_Hit_It_Here_Samples/6/Albert_Belle/2205217

It can be a very depressing way to see things you may have missed, or find things that you think don't actually exist.

I won a 1993 Cooperstown promo last week BIN for $4 plus S&H, and received it a couple days ago. No scan as I'm on my iPad, but it's in great condition. It was by sure chance I even got to see the auction as I was working late that night
