honestly I have always loved omar vizquel great ball player and was AWSOME to talk to during BP. He talked to my wife and I at an angels/rangers game during the ENTIRE batting practice about his family life. career and how much he will miss baseball when he retires. just a down to earth guy that I loved to watch play.

I am a St. Louis Cardinals fan. When I get the chance to see Tim Lincecum pitch I take it. Over the course of his career I have seen him pitch in St. Louis quite a bit. I have tried so many times to get his autograph on a baseball, just for my collection. I have nearly been arrested, ran over, beat up, and pissed of most of the local IP autograph collectors and have still not gotten his autograph unfortunately.

David Wright plays for the hated Mets but he plays the "right" way and seems to be well-liked and respected by other teams.

I've never heard any bad stories about Edwin Encarnicion.

And Tulo is just so good. If he can ever stay healthy...

Always liked Griffey and now it's Andrew McCutchen. Just really like how he plays and never hear about him in a bad way.

Growing up, the guys I liked the most from other teams were Chipper Jones (I got to see him plenty on TBS growing up), Mike Piazza (played catcher in little league and loved watching him hit), Rusty Greer (I saw a lot of Rangers games and enjoyed the way he played the game) and Juan Gonzalez (power, power, power).

In the present time I like Clayton Kershaw (his starts are straight masterful), Ichiro and Miguel Cabrera (slowly working his way into greatest hitter of all time).

I would go with Brian McCann. I went to Atlanta to see some of my cousins they took us to a game, and McCann was the only person who signed for us and l was wearing a Dbacks shirt! He ended up Hitting a homerun and threw out 2 people trying to steal.

For me Frank Thomas (back in the day) and Paul Konerko on the dreaded south-siders being a Cub fan that I am. Others don't really come to mind right now though.

Bagwell, Biggio, and Billy Wagner. It was always a treat to see them play in SF. I was the only astros fan in an entire seating section, and it seemed like the Astros would win whenever i was able to see them. One time the Astros were beating the giants so badly that my friends wanted to start leaving at the end of the seventh. I was miffed, but they were my ride. So we listened to the rest of the game on the way out on the radio, and the Astros continued to stack on runs. That was a nice night, with me being able to rub it in their faces that they were fairweather fans. Well, at least for a night.

oh, and i never got Bags or Biggios auto in person, but i did get Billy Wagner to sign my ball. :)

Can't help myself - Buster Posey. Seems there's always at least one Giant I just can't bring myself to dislike. I also like David Wright, but he's not playing for the hated black & orange so I don't feel guilty.
