RBI baseball was the best.

I <3 u.

Last baseball game I could play was Bases Loaded. I really don't like the complexity of the last 10 years of baseball titles. Or Madden for that matter. Sure it's deep, but it makes the game too involved for the casual gamer.

IMO it doesn't get any better than MVP 05, although MLB The Show comes pretty close. I've easily logged more hours on MVP 05 than any other game I've ever played. The music tracks from that game will be forever burned into my memory.

Not sure which year it was but I think it was like 2008 THE SHOW that was just awesome. Walk up music was more human than human by White Zombie. Just freaking awesome.

Cool video. I wish it said which game each one was and on which console, although I knew most of them.
I have the first one they showed on the Atari 2600, although there was an Atari game earlier than that, so the video didn't start early enough.
I also own Pete Rose Baseball on the Atari, several different NES, SNES and Genesis baseball games , Ken Griffey, Jr. and Cyber Baseball on the N64, MVP '04 and '05 on the Gamecube and MLB '12: The Show on the PS3.

Pity it was strictly American console games. The Hardball series for PC really should have been in there. Neat look at the progress, though.

I still play mvp 05 on my gamecube weekly! The soundtrack is burned into my memory as well, and what made the game so great for me was the depth of the franchise mode. It's definitely the best baseball game I've ever played, but I have an xbox 360 so I've never played the show. The mlb 2k series is garbage, and that is probably the reason that I will eventually get a ps4 and not a xbox one.

They did leave out one of the best games of all time. Baseball stars for the NES game was way ahead of its time, u could dive, rob home runs & even create & save rosters ImageUploadedByFreedom Card Board1379084867.391226.jpg

MVP05 is the greatest baseball game I played. It was just a solid solid game. Great classic stadiums. Good soundtrack.
