Someone bought a book with 100 of the best All-time Yankees, which got me to looking for one. I also found this book, which pictures Yankee cards by year, from 1952 -1988 ( book printed in 1988).

Those are pretty cool. I have a few of those put away. Its sponsored by Tide or a cleaner if I’m not mistaken. I actually cut one up once and placed it in the holes where I was missing the cards in my albums, kinda like a checklist.

Hello everyone. Last week a friend of mine dropped off a duffle bag his mother was throwing out. He knew they contained cards so that’s why he thought of me. There was nothing earth shattering. A set of ’89 Donruss, a set of ’91 & ’92 Topps and a shoe box of 90s commons with a few local players’ cards. These cards were in a team bag. Pretty beat up but cool to go through. There was enough in there to buy him lunch.

I think I still have a couple Brewers ones buried somewhere. I believe Surf was the sponsor of those stadium giveaways in '87 and again in '88 for sure (not sure if they went beyond that in Milwaukee). As a kid those books were the coolest giveaways aside from actual cards
