I was the runner up on the Throwback Threads patch! It's a 1/1 correct? I also believe I made offers on the prime cuts one you have (not 100% it's the same) and on the NT one! I have almost the same prime cuts triple you have in my bucket the one with a small patch window in the middle

I will let you have a run at it for 150. Hopefully you can land it for that. They are nice cards! Think the molitor barrel will go much higher? Or the palmer letter?

If I had to guess - Palmer letter goes between $110-$140
Molitor Barrel goes $375-$425? Maybe even slightly higher just because in my opinion those National Treasures landscape barrels are a SWEET design!

If I can get the palmer under 200 I would be thrilled! I'm hoping under 500 on molitor....haven't talked myself into bidding yet on the molitor though

I would be very surprised if Palmer went close to $200 I think it will go a bit less than that - Randy Johnson recently went for about $120 I believe or thereabouts I'm too lazy to look it up haha. Yeah Molitor may go higher than my estimate just because those cards are super nice and in this case even the bat barrel is really really nice. I know you're a Twins guy - I think it'd look good in your collection but I know we have to pick and choose lol

100% and from what I've seen they paid great attention to detail in cutting the actual bat piece properly that went into the window.

That's why I want it. Most molitor stuff is brewers and since this is neutral it can pass as twins stuff
plus molitor only used black bats I think during his years with the twins. So the bat is most likely used as player for twins

And coming from a neutral perspective, this is easily the nicest Molitor barrel I've seen IMO I'm very partial to this design.

I remember the gehrig when it hit ebay in 2011 and I though it could be real. Could be tag a stitching from a pair of pants. Then I realized it was numbered out of /3 and I think the 1/1 version didn't have any stitching. The other /3 versions didn't either. So it could be real but that seemed fishy enough that I stayed away from it. Thoughts anybody else?

Another question for everyone...what if there was a mantle home pinstripe jumbo patch like my two Maris cards. What do you think a mantle like that would sell for? 6-7k?

Wow , you think that much ? Man that seems crazy unless it looked as cool as the Musial booklet we've discussed etc. If it was just parts of the letters , you really see that much ?

Like I said, I remember when it hit ebay and the other cards didn't look like it. The stitching and tag could be from a gehrig pair of pants. Why would topps put it in a card numbered to /3 and not the 1/1? I guess it wouldn't be the first dumb thing topps did. It could certainly be real, I just question that because I remeber seeing the others.
