Here are a couple of my pickups in the past week - been slow haven't been able to find any nice stuff at a decent price like I said I was the runner up on the Brooks and Klu last night but even those cards I wasn't super excited about but some decent cards

I have a couple on my watch list but haven't made much traction in getting to a reasonable price. I also made a pretty nice deal with a board member so I should be getting those cards in relatively soon as well!

I would have predicted it went about $100-$120 so I think you got a great deal for sure well worth it - love cards like that

Homerun28aa those are nice cards. Espically the torre. don't think you overpaid much. His stuff is hard to find. I wish it was the torRe cardinals card in that set. That is one of only two cards I'm missing in that set

Glad you got the Schmidt! Yay for lower prices too wish my killebrew cards would drop 8n price too, but they don't seem too

Thanks! I know that set isn't an easy one to complete by any means - I'll show you some nicer stuff when it comes in but from the 2004-2005 period I love some of the HOF patch auto designs they had. Most are lower-end HOFers but I try to pick them up when I can.

I think it's cool that 3 members got 3 of the 4 gehrig celebrity cuts cards he last month. And the 4th gehrig is still available for a bin!

Yes that is a great card! I own a copy of it but my gehrig patch isn't nearly as good as the tag on this card. I have tried to purchase it but in my oponion it isn't worth anywhere near e 20k and we can't seem to come to terms on a price.

but it sure is fun to look at it

what at do you guys think it is worth?
