1999 Fleer Mystique Masterpiece 1 of 1
Figured I’d post this here in case anyone missed my 90’s insert post. Likely headed to grading and then auction. If anyone would like more info moving forward don’t hesitate to ask!
Thanks, yea there has been a lot of interest even ungraded. We were big Fleer Mystique hobbyists back when they came out and so recently when going through the old collection I started investigating what the Griffey would go for. It all started because I found a Tom Brady 2000 Score Rookie Preview Auto in my “trash cards” binder I hadn’t looked at in 15 years. Also found a 2000 Mystique Brady rookie numbered to 1012/2000 and a bunch of 90s inserts. Only Griffey Cards I dug up are a Fleer Mystique /2500 card and two graded 10 rookies (USA grading and PRO grading). I bought those 20 years ago with my dad as well. My dad paid what he thought was way too much for the Griffey back then from a guy who helped us source a lot of the boxes. We pulled 11 “Established” cards that I’ll post a picture of as well! Can’t go wrong with grading really, but I’m sure you would get some strong offers/bids even if you don’t grade.
Nice card! How did you get it?

Why don't you post a pic of the card in it's case? ...and "coin it" so people will know you have it in hand.Hi everybody. Posting here after a long and complicated battle with consigners and multiple attempts at grading this card. Long story short my BIG consignment company I hired to sell this 1/1 masterpiece failed to get it graded by both PSA and Beckett so I feared the worst. After calling in a favor and having a very credible member of the industry submit this card for me it finally came back. I’m fielding all offers right now (already have a 9 and 10k offer) but I’m being transparent and letting everyone know that I’m shopping around offers right now. I think a private sale may be best for the card and this community. Let me or anyone else interested know. Thanks! Feel free to email at [email protected]View attachment 311672
Here ya go.Why don't you post a pic of the card in it's case? ...and "coin it" so people will know you have it in hand.

Griffey late 90's cards have some serious collectors.. Even worse than @magicpapaThat is simply insane to me that people will drop that much on a new card. Older cards are easier to excuse, but still is crazy. I know it's commonplace now days, but still crazy to me. For me, it's really still a hobby. I am not going to spend $$$ that amount to cars, houses and waterfront property on sport cards (over a long time, maybe easier to do, but not in small shots). Now if I were comfortable 7 figure rich, maybe I have a different attitude and perhaps some of these buyers are in that category.
