A whole bunch of fakes, a few possible authentic mixed in from those poor scans. I'll steer clear- a wide path
Starting 9 I like to see / buy in person anyways. If the seller had a clue he'd have slabbed every one of them- would easily recoup investment if authentic.

One of mine is an Auth-Altered Nomar - a "shortie" . Whether it was pack issued ,or someone fiddled with it, could still tell when seen it was authentic so I bought it ( see below). I've got others that will be slabbed in the near future once PSA re-opens again.

Call me crazy, but you'd think that if a card company were only going to produce 9 of each card, they could take the time to make sure the foil-stamped serial numbers lined up...I feel that this is when certain card companies stopped caring about quality.

But can't you imagine some jerk production manager coming down and screaming "you're only making 9 of each card!!!! How long could this take!!? Let's pick up the pace!!!!

I know that's a popular set but man that's a high price for a card where the embossing is off-center. I wouldn't think there would still be a premium for that guy's cards because who even remembers that movie.

I've always wanted to know... what is the Building Blocks PMG like in hand? I imagine it's absolutely spectacular, but sometimes it doesn't work out that way.

the card looks super in hand, scan doesnt pick up the detail, the green with the gold is really nice.

The Building Blocks do look great. Though I kind of miss the etching that is on the regular cards.

Well, this was unexpected, by a LOT

So, being a Fryman collector, I still scour for 1/1's and weird items, but have completed my collecting goals otherwise. But I will put an eyeball on rarer items to see what they fetch nowadays. I realize the market is different and certain things have gone up in price, but holy crap! I think I could take 4-5 1/1's of his and add them together and still have change left over before coming up to this price.

I realize the market is different and certain things have gone up in price, but holy crap! I think I could take 4-5 1/1's of his and add them together and still have change left over before coming up to this price.

That makes the 99 Kapler Essential Credentials/4 that went for $560 seem like a bargain.

These are so awesome in hand. I'm really tempted to crack, peel, and resub though. The card looks flawless other than surface bubbles in the peel.

That's why you don't use your nail. They peel pretty easily normally and it looks like the bottom right corner is already lifting.
