I remember seeing this one. And thought it was so strange the one I had was basically a standard looking upper deck design on the front. That look makes so much more sense in the math context.
Probably shouldn't have posted a question at 2am [emoji23]. Apologies if this bump is too soon. But would like for a few eyes to take a look who might know something.
I found this in a baseball book I bought recently. Its from 1999-2000 and shows Phil Nevin. The back has some cool fantasy stats with addition/multiplication/division symbols along the side. Copyright by Tim Scheidt, who made some kind of baseball mathematics book in 1994.
Not in great shape...
Thank you. And nothing else like this manny really left in my collection. Over the years I took some nicer proven modern players in my vintage trades to close deals. And I'm just about out of them completely.
I have for sale one of my last modern slabbed cards in my collection.
Price is $250 shipped for Manny.
Most recent ebay sale was over $280.
Manny is a very polarizing figure in baseball to many. But there's no denying he is having a hof caliber career.
Please note, I only accept no fee...
I assumed it would've gotten maybe a 7 at best. The corners aren't great. So I Just figured save the $ and just get the auto authenticated. But that's absolutely an option if one desires.
PS: I didn't get it signed myself, but my friend who's a minor league junkie did. Read my post further up :)!
