Thanks so much, everyone!
Joss was definitely not the most beautiful of subjects, but I won't lie, it's partially what drew me to the image. If I could make an ugly man look beautiful in paint, I was up for the challenge, darn it!

Thank you so much, everybody.

Hey all,
Hope everyone's starting to enjoy some spring weather. In Brooklyn, it's REALLY starting to feel like baseball season is upon us.
I just got this guy back from the photographers, and I thought it was an interesting one to post:
My client is a big fan of the Cracker Jack set and...

Hope everyone's doing well.

Thanks a lot, wideright!! I do indeed use oils, and the canvas doesn't really have much extra texture on it. I usually use a medium weave, so it's not too smooth and not too rough, and I try to build up extra surface texture myself.
hofmichael, thank you so much!! As of now, there's no solid...
Thanks for the compliments, guys! I'll try and post the other in-progress stuff today.
mjbuchanan80, I'd have to get back to you on the prices of the 18" x 24"s, though I think it's around the 4k range. My agent actually just prices everything out relative to the size of the piece. They're set...

Hope everyone's been doing well so far this new year.
I thought I'd post some stuff I just got back from the photographers in the past few weeks. I think it might mark my first sharing of work since December, so I figured I was off of my pace!

Here are a few newer ones that have either left, or are...
Thanks for those kind words, TBTwinsFan and rsmath!
I didn't find a larger shot of that Ripken image, Chris. Though, I'm hoping with some diligence, I can track it down. I actually did see your mother's comment and it definitely got me wondering why I hadn't completed a painting of the great...
Thanks again for the kind words, guys.
Though there aren't any immediate plans for prints at the moment, my agent did tell me a few days ago that sometime next year, he's going to start putting together resources to have a coffee table book printed. So, when/if it becomes a reality (which I'm...
Whoops! Didn't even realize the signature was there - sorry! ::facepalm::
Thanks for the lovely words, Pinbreaker. As long as you keep enjoying it, I'll keep posting! So in that case, I just hope you keep enjoying.

Whoa! I thought I had set my account to send me emails when people responded to a thread, but I suppose not - I'm glad I checked back.
Thank you ALL for your kind words and help. I should have guessed there would be a couple of Net54ers on here, too! :P
Wes, to which Williams were you...

Hope everyone's having a great weekend!

These photo have always been favorites of mine, and I...
