    1996 Leaf Signature versions?

If you are talking about this one: http://www.ebay.com/itm/1996-LEAF-AUTHENTIC-SIGNATURES-RAFAEL-PALMEIRO-AUTOGRAPH-ORIOLES-/111468644688?pt=US_Baseball&hash=item19f40c8950 Then yes, my guess is that it is faded. I had a Puckett that was similar (I bought it that way, but presumed it was fading)

Do you have a scan of one? The only red ink versions I've seen have actually been black ink signatures that have faded or more specifically sun/light exposure damage.

I hate these kinds of cards

Indeed. I wonder what the Cal Ripken collectors think about it as well... ;)

Craigslist Purchase - Screw Down Case Issue

If this is a real post, I'd send every single one of those cards into PSA or BGS for grading, as those are cards that are very often counterfeited and you may have been taken for a ride by your seller.

How do you feel about Leaf Trinity patch cards?

Oh he certainly does that, just not in the positive ways he thinks... And with that, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and holiday season to all those that don't celebrate it!

How do you feel about Leaf Trinity patch cards?

Here is a very simple way to handle them; buy them if you like them, don't if you don't. Pretty simple really. If you want to buy them, then don't add any premium to your buy price due to the jersey, or if you think it enhances them, pay whatever you want. I wouldn't pay anything more for...

So looks like Leaf is on to something....

While the cases cited here are interesting, I doubt that there would be a similar finding on a non-parody product that intends on using said logos multiple times a year, and presumably in multiple sports. I can't imagine that the other companies that have the exclusive licenses in other sports...

So looks like Leaf is on to something....

As far as I know, Broders were illegal and unlicensed at all points, even the ones that put the MLB logo on the backs of them. The magazine inserts (whether it was BCM, Legends, or the junky Rookie Review) didn't need licensing because they were considered to be part of the periodical, and thus...

2 Packaged Sent USPS Disappear Into Thin Air

Did the person bring it into his local USPS or hand it to his postal carrier? If so, have him check with them to see what may have happened. If there is no movement in a few days, he should go to his local PO with the tracking # and have them begin an investigation.

So looks like Leaf is on to something....

Topps didn't pay millions just for the "Official card of MLB" title. They paid whatever they paid for the exclusive rights to the logos and team names, and to be the only ones who have that right for the length of the contract. It's a BS thing for MLB to do, but it's what happened and we have...

Since there are a lot of things to catch up on, I'll summarize: 1). I think it's great that Brian is on the forums. Card companies should have someone doing their hobby outreach, and it's commendable that Brian is as involved as he is. Even if it's for shameless self promotion of his...
