You guys are completely missing his point. You could pull random names out of a hat and have a great April. Baseball is a marathon and not a sprint and I agree with the OP. If you want to have a good team all season long the players need to have a firm grasp on what their role is and need to...
You should make yourself a high end one for your PC items. You'll be glad you did. I used Pecan for the wood and made sure to have a nice knot for the lid. Brass for the hardware. For the lining we used a pseudo felt that you actually "spray" on. It feels exactly like real felt but thinner...
Here's a shot of the top of the big one.
Sorry, haven't been around much since the boards changed. Can't figure out how to get a decent sized image up here.

The large one was built to fit 100 BGS slabs. Not sure how many PSA slabs it will hold but you...
I had to do the same about a year ago. I went back to school and needed the money. It was tough parting with everything but I have no regrets. They are just cards after all.
I really want to hate this guy but he really has handled himself incredibly well since his call up.
I'm starting to think maybe he could turn into a class act in-spite of piss poor parenting instead of turning into a grade A ****** bag because of them.
While I'm not convinced he is a HOFer I do agree with your premise. I'm as big an Astros fan as anyone but Craig Biggio was NEVER the best player on his TEAM, much less the league. He played for half a decade past his usefulness to compile #s and make himself and Drayton McLane $$$$.
Belle was a very good player and I think those fringe guys have to have extra intangibles to get in (great teammate, post season success, stellar D and baserunning etc). Unfortunately for Belle his intangibles took him in the wrong direction.
