1999 Bowman Gold #20 Paul O'Neill /99 -- A pick up for my core PC. Completes the 1999 Bowman and 1999 Bowman Chrome O'Neill run with all 9 versions. Tempted to crack this open to have the satisfaction of filling the binder page with all nine versions.

1999 SP Authentic Chirography Gold #RL Ricky Ledee/38 -- Second year of SPA Chirography and first year with gold parallels. I have always felt this is the best design amongst all the Chirography sets. A common player, but couldn't pass on this given its rarity. Even with the explosion of '90s inserts, I feel such autographs are undervalued.

Sorry to your baseball purists, but I got nothing baseball related today.

Could HOF basketball stars, including another Heritage card. I really like this set, much like the Old Schools.

A few WNBA TTM/IP autos. Hopefully they are real. Have never really chased non-certified WNBA autos before. They were cheap, at least.

Missed this one last go around and luckily seller had another he listed and this time I won it. I forgot about them (he has listed 7-8 of these) and almost missed it. Thankfully this one was the last one to end and the only one i still needed, because the rest sold for a fraction of what they had done a week prior and I caught it just in time, literally, to whip out a last second bid!

One of my pickups today brings what I feel like is some verification of my theories about 1998 Donruss Signature Significant Signatures and also more questions which is always the scenario with bankruptcy era sets. This one popped up with most of the rest of the 100 numbered copies as well as three unnumbered copies in a collection from a Playoff Executive. I have long thought there were supposed to be SPs other than the Nolan Ryan but hadn't ever seen one and I assumed the bankruptcy had swallowed them up. It opens up the question why Ted didn't sign though. These were all printed and signed in late 1997 or early 1998 and he was still healthy and signing at that point. Did he just flip them the bird or what? There's no denying these would be even more awesome with Ted's bold looping signature across the front of it in blue ink though.

I also picked up what i consider the earliest "card" of the Titanic with this 1925 Duncan & Co Evolution of Steamships Titanic. There is a 1911 Cadbury White Star Lines card but it just features a generic liner and lists both the Olympic and Titanic on it. This is the first card I know of that specifically pictures the Titanic herself.

I've actually had this for a bit too but don't think I shared it. It started life with me as a really grubby, like someone ate KFC and handled it leaving all the grease behind, JSA certified postcard I picked up cheap cheap and Tanner Jones @mouschi made it a masterpiece.

I saw that Williams on facebook. Very nice. That would have been great, although still very expensive i am sure. I remember having a shot at the UD Williams auto at around $400, thinking it was too much and at the time, it was at the top of the market for that card. Too bad I didn't want it more and just took the plunge!
