They had a big advantage in the playoffs that year. There should be an * next to that win. They played ALL their playoff games in Texas!
The Rays played in SD then had to go to Texas to play the world series. BS,BS,BS!

Lots of people are crying about the Dodgers. It feels good to see it. People love to hate winners. It happens all the time, every sport.

Many years as a fan, watching them come close so often, only to fall year after year. I was right there for 1981, but in Navy nuclear power school in 1988, so I didn't have time for baseball then. I am enjoying their run now though (including 2020) and maybe we'll even see another championship in the near future.
