Thanks Scott! I was pretty happy with the pickup and the price as I thought it was going to go for a lot more,especially with the way the other Doerr 1/1s have been selling lately and the fact I was potential competing with two additional player collectors as well. The lack of anything "special" such as autos or game used probably turned away some, which is just fine by me!

Thanks Scott! I was pretty happy with the pickup and the price as I thought it was going to go for a lot more,especially with the way the other Doerr 1/1s have been selling lately and the fact I was potential competing with two additional player collectors as well. Not right away but maybe later I will change my mind. I like it the way it is now, but I do agree that it would look incredible signed on the card by all three since the autographed 1/1 version of it contains sticker autos. I know I would be able to get Doerr, so it would just be Yaz & Fisk I would have to worry about. I might end up keeping the 1/1 version as is and trying to get the normal version signed by all three in the long run. Still not sure as Im still loving the fact that I was able to pick it up.

Nice pickups Johnny! Love the Silk Youk especially!

Also, OT but, was browsing your bucket and saw that you're a political/presidential collector! Guess we are in the same boat with collecting that stuff as well! Current focus for me is the Topps Campaign patches-I love the look of those things!

I'm here- I collect Ted Williams, vinatge and HOFer autographs among other things.......

Here's my best Ted (and the card is not being squeezed in this old time holder- it was locked away for 20+ years and I just recently scanned it).

I would like to be added to this list as a Jason Bay collector. I couldn't be happier to see Bay play for such a great and classy organization. I have always followed the Sox and now they are my favorite team.

Oh man Jeff, I'm glad you got that! I had it on my watch list and would have bid it up pretty far if I had been home when it ended. I knew I should have set a snipe but never got around to it. I'm glad the card went to you though. Very nice!
