I didnt realize you were going after Triple Folders. I love that set and they are actually affordable (for the most part) as well. Nice collection you have going.
That is one awesome 4 in 1. I do not believe I have seen one that nice ever. Nice pick up
Looks like I have caught the Diamond Stars bug.
a few recent pick ups.
Legendary Yankees third baseman Red Rolfe. He played with Ruth, Gehrig and the rest of Murderers row from 1931 to 1942...
Thanks Dano...I couldnt pass it up for 20 bucks!
I had a chance to pick up this King Carl at an incredible price. Due to the price it went for I thought for sure it will be beat up and nearly destroyed when I received it but that was not the case....
Nice pick ups. You really are making me want to take a run at this set.
I have to agree on the Diamond Stars. I have been contemplating the set for a year now. The checklist has a great number of hall of famers with no Ruth or Gehrig that will break the bank. The...

I had a chance to pick this up for under fifty bucks and jumped all over it. Its already authenticated by SGC and PSA and would love to get it into a slab for safe keeping.

The family member I knew also lived on the family farm in Huntley. I asked him to write his thoughts and memories down about a woman he showed a great deal of fondness for but he has yet to do it. ...
I believe Ms. Donahue was the Secretary to the President of the Cubs and would eventually move up the ladder to higher positions within the team and the league. I knew her nephew and he had some...
A few more recent pick ups for the HOF'er collection. I would like to obtain rookie cards of HOFers but that will not be financially possible for those players who played so many years ago so I will...
After taking a few years off to get my head around some things I dipped my toes in the vintage pool and pulled a few cards out. I thought I would look for 50's Topps or Bowman cards of star players...
You have to love the fact that these came from the Lionel Carter collection, a real hobby pioneer and proponent. The fact these come from his collections make them even more special.
I inadvertently jumped into the vintage cards again when I picked this '33 Goudey up last weekend in a trade. I had sold an old time dealer a large lot of cards and he felt I did not ask for as much...
Those Diamond Stars are awesome. I have always loved that set as it had the look and feel of the era with an art deco vibe to them.
It is hard to imagine that a team that was in existence as long as the Brooklyn Dodgers were only won the series once while in the borough. They had sniffed at the championship so many times by...
Freaking awesome! I love this off beat type of collectible.
The '53 Paige is one of those iconic cards that just beg any vintage collector to own. Congrats on buying the card and not the holder because from my standpoint, you got yourself a beautiful card...
You did real well with the player selection in that Exhibit piece. Have you given any thought to trying to purchase the machine the cards were sold in and using the machine to display this item? ...
I really need to get me one of those for the set I am building!!
Nice Colgan Chip!! I have always liked these.
Great looking cards. I admire your willingness to go after the Monster. That set just scares the hell outta me. Keep posting your cards as I think many of us would like to see the diamond stars...
