Mail delivery is always slower in December but I think that in 2020 coupled with the coronavirus pandemic it was especially slow. Luckily I don't have to earn my living selling on eBay as it's just a side hobby for me and I feel bad for sellers where that is their main source of income.
Just had a package where the tracking was last updated on December 14th start moving again a month later on January 14th. It's too bad the buyer opened an "item not received" case and I refunded them already a week ago. But fortunately the buyer re-issued payment. If you start selling again...
Very familiar with Probstein and have bought from that seller numerous times before in the past. He probably didn't look twice as I'm sure a lot of people wouldn't.
You're far from the only one who has been a victim of slow mail delivery. Luckily all of my packages from December except for 2 have now been delivered. The last tracking info for one was updated on December 14th in Des Moines, Iowa with no updates since then. The destination is Maryland and...
Yeah, especially when it comes to collecting Jordan. You could probably bend the card 3 ways so it's creased in 3 directions, get it graded and still sell it for over $1000.
Yeah, there's a lot of crazy/angry people on the road lately, that's for sure, likely because of what's going on politically right now. Be careful out there.
Good thing I decided not to buy it anyway, then. I saw a PSA 7 Garvey RC sitting there on eBay for $175 right now and I was thinking about buying it but in the end decided against it as well mainly because mail delivery for items I've won and items I'm selling still seems to be horrible though...
Are other people here still experiencing slow mail delivery though it's a week after the New Year now? I still have 4 packages stuck somewhere if not stolen from the middle of December. Then I have one with a destination to a military base in Oregon that was last scanned on December 24th in...
I went to contact eBay to resolve an issue that I'm having with a buyer and it looks like their help channel is down yet again as you can't contact a representative.
The USPS is shitty and so is eBay but unfortunately there aren't many other avenues other than maybe Amazon and a couple of other...
I guess it depends then but for me, packages that I sent out west have been getting there a lot quicker.
I wonder how eBay is going to handle the situation though because I'm sure that a lot of packages are late in getting to their destinations. I just had a buyer open up an "item not...
I'm in Illinois and packages being sent to and coming from states out west like California and Utah seem to be flowing much faster than packages being sent to and coming from Eastern/Northeastern states like New York and Maryland. Packages being mailed to and coming from states in the Southeast...
I found a pretty good deal on craigslist for a PSA 8 1971 Topps Garvey RC and have been thinking about purchasing it but I'm still undecided. Unfortunately I just don't think that Garvey will ever make the Hall of Fame because of his off-the-field issues and the fact that he was never that...
As mentioned before, I have a couple of packages, one that I sold and one that I bought, that were last scanned on December 14th. One was last in Des Moines, Iowa and the one that I purchased was last scanned in Kentucky. I'm in Illinois so I have no idea what is going on but it's frustrating...
You would think that USPS would hire more employees but of course they don't. My post office almost always has only 1 person working the counter no matter how backed up the line is. It's ridiculous.
