Remember that there was that Chrome auto in BDPP as an insert. I pulled a base. He had a picture with that GAWD-awful haircut/Mohawk. Bet that had a Super.
I think, in the last 10-12 years, the most catastrophic injuries to Brewers' top-end pitching has come on the base-paths.
It's not them throwing their arm out, it's tweaking a knee running, or sliding, or even odd stuff like hang nails and blisters (*ahem* Ben Sheets).
I still prefer my...
I actually made a killing on his Elite autos. I got a bunch of them in a lot where I was really just interested in a Trout and Jurickson Profar at the time. The guy I was buying from just wanted a bigger deal, so I bought a bunch of stuff. There were like 5 Moore cards in it, and two were ser...
My shop owner still talks about this. I bought a box of 2014 Bowman Platinum, hoping for the Bryant Bowman Chrome autos that were placed in them. Well, I hit it as the second auto. As the shop owner were talking about it, he says "you know, Bryant has a regular Platinum auto in this as well...
I bounced in and out of collecting a few times. In 1999/2000 timeframe, I pulled my first GU from 2000 Upper Deck football, Courtney Brown. Then I took time off and joined the military. After getting back from deployment in 2005, I checked out some 2005 Topps Chrome retail. In it I hit a black...
Since I don't want to open another entire account, is there a free site you (FCB) could open an account with and we can upload our signatures to? I realize that's asking a bit, but I'd rather not open an entirely new image sharing account for one picture.
Thoughts?
The winners might end up being Milwaukee. This unforseen success by the Brewers put the Cubs in panic mode. If those prospects were going to impact the future MLB roster for the Cubs, Milwaukee had a hand in reducing that impact.
I'm not saying it was the plan, but it's definitely an outcome...
So I opened my 2 blasters, 4 packs, and 2 big boxes of Bowman Platinum.
I got some Judges, some Bellingers, and some parallels.
The autos were atrocious, save for one.
Adrew Sopko
Carter Kieboom
Joe Jimenez
But the last autograph certainly made up for it:
I'd be OK with Milwaukee getting a controllable starting pitcher with good periphs, but that's it. I'm talking Gray, not Quintana. Maybe if another team falls away and moves into seller mode, we could go shopping.
Bottom line: no rentals for a team that is unpredictably over-achieving.
