Opinion: '98 Totally Certified Plat Gold or '99 Brilliants 24kt
Go for the 24K. They look much nicer in person than the scans you see. I regret selling these. -

Just got these gold pre-production's in. Anyone know how many gold sets are out there? I always thought there was only 1 set but it looks like onionring also has a gold version of P71. -

98 Pinnacle Totally Certified Blue. I've never seen any other 98 certified blue of any player so, I'm pretty happy to have found one of Andruw. -

I missed out on a green copy last month that sold BIN before I even saw it so I was happy to be able pick up a purple copy. This is #17 :D. I can't imagine there are too many more floating around that aren't locked up in collections. -

Anyone track their steps for 10K step challenge
I recently found out that that my iPhone (company provided) had been tracking my steps. I am hitting between 18K and 25K on days I work and I got to wondering is anyone here tracking their steps or even keeping track? Came across this tonight in a box full of unorganized Andruw cards. I must have put it in there when I moved 3-4 years ago and never got around to organizing them. Not sure how I missed it for so long but it's nice to knock another one off the list. This is my 27th. -

What's your "baseball card mystery"
I had a similar thing happen with me and my Andruw Collection. In 1996 Andruw graced the cover of Becket holding 3 bats, 2 of which clearly show #13 but as far as I can tell he never wore that number in the majors or minors. Then in 2011 a game used bat was sold by pristine auction with the... -

I am glad they left Andruw out of the 99 set. I'm still missing 6 of the gold from 2000 and I do have 2 uncut proof cards I got from Leximo. -

Anyone seen these 2000 topps tek variations before? I came across this auction (151146658616) that shows a box where a serial number should have gone on the back of the card. I went through my 90+ copies and found 2 patterns that had this box. Any other collector's collect this variation...
