Backdoored? Well you be the judge...

I think the no numbers are so bloody cool. Adding the numbers aftermarket just sucks!

Backdoored? Well you be the judge...

Yeah, that's right up my alley. I love having die cut cards that aren't cut like that. So wished Jose had a glove one like that but he wasn't known for his glove as much as he was his head!

Backdoored? Well you be the judge...

I think they are pretty great, so long as people don't start trying to add aftermarket serial numbers on them. But yeah - super excellent cards imo. Brad, if you get a chance, post a pic of a regular version of that glove card. IIRC, it was die cut as a glove. If that's the case, your glove...

What's the Mt. Rushmore of Your Collection? President's Day Edition

I saw Gary Carter Supercollector Anthony Cali post this on FB, and thought it would be fun to see what the folks on FCB would say. In honor of President's Day, what is the Mount Rushmore of your collection? It may change later, but here is mine for now!

The Importance of Visual Card Presentation Online

I actually think I already have office lens on my phone as well, but am not sure if I've even tried it. I'm sure they are probably pretty comparable to each other.

The Importance of Visual Card Presentation Online

Yup, the same 2 cards! Well ... not the EXACT same two, but the same kind of card. The scans I showed you were the only ones I ever had to go by since they've never hit eBay for as long as I've been collecting. You are right - it would have helped quite a bit. They weren't my pics to begin...

The Importance of Visual Card Presentation Online

Have you ever had a card that looks ugly on the computer, yet when you see them in hand, they look incredible? I've had it both ways, but nothing as eye popping as these: The 1998 E-X Essential Credentials parallels. Tidel144 posted online that baseballcardpedia.com had been updated, most...

$1,000 + PSA 10 common card prices! Will they hold their value?

Don't discount this, Letch! If you send your couple of cents in for grading, and they come back a 10, they could be worth a whole lot more! LOL

$1,000 + PSA 10 common card prices! Will they hold their value?

For starters, we'll use 1986 Topps as our subject. The black portion of the card at the top can make it a bit difficult to find a PSA 10 worthy card, but since it is a junk wax era card, you have millions of shots at each card. A fellow collector that goes by the name of jordangretzkyfan has a...

Lost at Sea & Dying of Thirst - My Tri-Star Card Show Review & Musings

I heard that Tri-Star SF cancelled this year - I wonder if this is a sign of things to come? I truly hope card shows don't go the way of the buffalo. There was plenty of stuff there; just not really stuff in my wheelhouse.

Lost at Sea & Dying of Thirst - My Tri-Star Card Show Review & Musings

The Tri Star baseball card show is in town this weekend, and I decided to take Atticus on Friday to check it out. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect since it has been a couple years since I last went, but I had visions of going through dollar boxes and pulling out some fun 90s-00s inserts &...
