Binders by year, although some years are actually in 2. There are 3 more binders that won't fit on the shelf.
Binders have parallels together like so, my favorite cards are at the front. I don't leave holes for needed cards, I rearrange things on the rare occasion I find something new.

I have the X-Fractor #/57, I never remember it since it's still encased thus away from the 2003 binder.
I didn't realize the Silvers were single card redemptions, I thought it was for the whole set or something. I'll have to mark that one as 'unlikely to find' on the old checklist.
I wish they'd release the Autograph Schedule, the website used to say it would be out in February, now it says March and still nothing official listed. I'd only go if RJ was signing and I'd really like to go again, 2015 was so much fun.
Over a year later and a Black #/199 finally came up for sale (I'm not counting the one on Beckett that nut Card Gallery has for $36 that will be there until inflation makes the $7 I paid worth $36 in 2055 money).
I get as much enjoyment finding these type cards as I do 1/1s. #/199 and takes...
Sportcards Etc on Beckett Marketplace has a really good assortment of these

It's 1989, so there's an endless supply of all the main cards. If you want something that's really tough, go back a year and find a 1988 CMC Indianapolis Indians minor league card that's graded 8 or better. It's a black border card that was given out in plastic bags with RJ being the top card...
If poker is characterized as hours of boredom and moments of sheer terror, then hardcore player collecting is weeks/months of sheer boredom and text messages/maildays of sheer exhilaration.

2001 Leaf Certified Mirror Gold #/25. Not a huge card, but finding any card #/25 from 17 years ago is just plain tough. And the only nice 90s/00s insert I've added in ages.

14 Golds graded, that Jeter is the only 9.5, very nice.
And there is only 1 PSA 10 Gold out of 7 graded, it's Jeter as well.
Frankly I see more value in those repack breaks that some Panini logo-less sticker auto scrub fest case break, but to each their own I guess. If people want their hobby experience to be gambling on youtube, who are we to stop them?
I got the #/100 Game Ball with the amazing lettering on it way back in 2000, it was the first 'big' RJ card I ever bought where I spent a good amount of money (for a 16 year old).
The #/25 Auto version I just got in today, it's the first one I've seen in the past 4 years, and I have absolutely...
