"Toy store chain Toys R Us is planning to sell or close all 800 of its U.S. stores, affecting as many as 33,000 jobs as the company winds down its operations after six decades, according to a source familiar with the matter.
The news comes six months...
For the Rays it's definitely Kiermaier and Archer. Look up Kiermaier's quotes over the last week-definitely telling.

Came in thinking that I was going to list the ones I have and have never seen, but in reviewing my checklist just now it shows I actually don't have any 2003 checked off, which I think is...

2006 Topps Blue has long been a hot topic- it was a contest set that was suppose to have 10 made but rumors are that only 1 set was actually produced. It was broken up and sold on eBay years ago supposedly, but I have never seen the Lance Niekro either.
I will try to find the thread and bump...
Intense wind in the 80-90 mph range and heavy rain now hitting us here in Tampa Bay... we have evacuated our house in South Tampa for higher ground on the North side and hope that everything survives in one piece (including my entire card collection [emoji51])
Going to be an intense next few...
Well as IRMA continues to shift west, the biggest day of my life continues to be full of curveballs and knuckleballs here in Tampa.
None of my family made it here from New England and I'm down to 3 groomsman but we are still going to Rock and Roll thru to the Danger Zone and get this wedding...
Afternoon everyone...
This Grandma IRMA better keep moving East...of all the things we planned for on my Wedding day this Saturday, a category 5 hurricane was not one of them.
Otherwise, I wouldn't be concerned about it at all, we Floridians know what to do in this stuff that's for sure...
Quick post with a small pickup-will be writing a detailed separate post on this pickup and these in the next day or so but wanted to give a quick preview

1939 Playball Sample

Interesting-will have to look at my sometime this week to see, but I'm pretty sure it's the wavy border version. From what I've seen over the years, my guess is that the 2nd printing is significantly more rare than the first version.
Always love the older oddball sets..

Just asking because I would assume I'm not the only one thinking it-
Any chance this was cut from a uncut sheet? Set is extremely hard to find in even single form let alone to compile the entire thing.
Have all the uncut sheets and production sheets of this product been tracked thru the...
That was Torii Hunter who went into the bullpen in 2013 and it was a home run because he missed the catch. It led to a famous shot with the Boston cop celebrating.
As for this one, I think it was an out. He made the catch with his body in the field of play and his momentum carried him out...
If you happen to run across one of these ghosts (doesn't need to be graded),
I would very much appreciate a signal flare! ;)
