Erstad maildays are few and far between of late. Got another 1/1 from 2020 Ginter incoming.
Haven't seen these yet:
2020 Topps Allen and Ginter Mini Glossy #304 Darin Erstad SP /1
2020 Topps Allen and Ginter Mini Printing Plate Black #304 Darin Erstad SP
2020 Topps Allen and Ginter...
I can confirm the Kanebo black exists. Before I really understood their scarcity, I had the Black parallel of Pujols. Sold for $30 ish probably 10 years ago
No photos, sorry :)
1995 Best Darin Erstad (IP autograph)
2003 SPx Dual Patch Glaus/Erstad /90
2005 Topps Cracker Jack Blue Bucky Jacobsen /50
I collect unique IP autos of Erstad and I think the 95 Best completes my run of pre-rookie cards signed.
A few of us suspect these are actually /90 ish. The pack odds were same (I think) as the previous year but they ran multiple runs.
I've got 30-50 copies of a few different players. See very few singles the last 3-4 years. Have only added a single copy to my hoard.
Prices are pretty intense but I really think he's gonna be a great player. Of all the rookies/prospects, he's the one I'd personally feel most comfortable having money in.
My hobby goals:
1. Get all my non-PC items sorted and prepared to sell (FB and COMC).
2. Prep a few dozen cards for PSA submission
3. Sell off the parts of my Will Clark and Eddie Murray collections that aren't interesting to me anymore
4. Open 2022 Topps with my 7 year old son
5. Add to my...
I have a few Gold sample Erstad's. Need to get some photos. They're very, very tough. I was pretty aggressive picking the samples up as I've seen them. Still need a whole bunch to finish the run
Yeah, I'm really stumped on why they did this.
I wondered if the first x sets were holos and then everything after were plain foil. Looks like all or nothing from what I've seen thusfar.
I'm building another set of Bucky Jacobsen. About 1/2 there
Only your NL Wild Card has the holofoil / refractor looking element.
All of these are foil. Only certain cards have holofoil (refractor look). What I'm trying to sort out is why some sets have them and some presumably do not.
