Positive they kept 29 cents cents for a "refund transaction" fee. Unreal and silly.
By the way, I know it's only 60 cents, so it's not like its breaking the bank or anything, it's just the principle of it.
Am I wrong though, that if someone pays you separately with two different Paypal...
Can I get in on the complaining?
Just sold two items to the same buyer. Happened to be online when the auctions ended, so I sent a combined invoice requesting he pay for them both at the same time (unsaid, but so I wouldn't be docked the extra 30 cents by Paypal and to make it easier to send...
I pulled out my 1993 base cards and shined a light on them at different angles, just curious to see what they looked like to recreate these auctions. They all looked the same.
Not sure if I put more blame on the seller or buyers on these. Do your homework, right?
Am I crazy, or are these just base Finest cards? I'm not seeing the refractor prism effect on these at all:

Bumping this, but these apparently are UV coated? Were the older Rawlings cubes not UV protected? I know the Ultra Pro ones comes with a little hologram on the bottom if they have the UV protection. I have a ton of the older Rawlings cubes with the black plastic base on the bottom that I...
If this is an unfair question, please accept my apology. The only reason I ask is because I often struggle with this question if it were a situation I might find myself in possibly in the near future. Did you win that auction or have someone else send you the card after they won it? The angle...
Not related to Topps Now, but it's interesting that the Topps World Series set is only 25 cards, and supposedly a mix of players and highlights. In previous years, the set has been something like 50+ cards, with cars of the entire post season roster and highlights of all the games.
Yeah, it's really unnerving because I do have quite a few factory sets from the last ten or 12 years.
I'm assuming these cards are ok if they're in plastic UltraPro penny sleeves or sheets in binders.
I hate to bump such an old thread, but I opened a factory set from the early 2000s (Topps), and the cards were a brick. I've experienced this with some of the Score sets from the mid 90s, so I was aware of the issue. I've heard the 2001 Topps set is usually pretty bad.
Is there a definitive...
Quick question - so, for the 90 diffractor patterns, do you count those as attainable? or don't count them at all? I notice you mentioned it's your 5th diffractor, but you're only missing 31 cards from 1998. Looks like you don't count the diffractors separately at all...but not sure how you...
Funny, the comments on that link have someone complaining about the card stock being too thin. I love the card stock. I wish the past few years of Heritage were this thick. Card stock is nice.
Thanks Anthony. I may just be having a brain cramp on this one. Not sure I see the answer on that link. So, the minis definitely come in red and blue back parallels. Just not sure if the base cards have two versions too.
Quick question about this set.
I know the total checklist has 104 cards. I notice some are blue backs and some are red backs.
I know the minis have both colors, and it is possible to put together an entire red or blue-back set. Does the standard size base set have both back colors also, or...

This is intersting. It's a Topps buyback.
