I have been able to pick up quite a few. Those preferred prized are a PITA though. I don't mind putting some money into em but at some of the asking prices it is a little discouraging, makes me do a little step back to think about how hard I want to go after it..... Knowing myself I will... -

That Thomas is sweet. A BGS 9.5 too. I would think the edges would make them tough to grade high? How do they get a 9 on those corners? They look great great to me. -

lucky find.. I was checking my eBay and it popped on my feed.. I know there are quite a few of the All Star emerald Moments. I have read some other threads about these, and when I saw the name where ALL-Star was supposed to be I figured why not.. These are the one that are supposed to be... -

LOL glad you didnt. After I bought my three and had a counter on the Maddux I went to pick uo the others and now I know who bought them. the funny thing is i messaged him because the scans of these show up as black so I triple confirmed they were all Gold. when he said yes I figured heck why... -

I can't get a feel for the price of these honestly. The odds state that they are 1:800 packs but the prices don't seem to fit the scarcity. At least for the most part, but that current Griffey is up there a bit. -

happy with a few recent pickups. Seller listed em for great price, missed the griffey, Maddux and Rodriguez but was able to pick these up for a good price IMO. Picked up a lofton too :-) -

Desirable set or not. there are 250 copies of that card. I would think that $200 is definitely not laughable. -

IMO they dont police their auctions as much as they say they do. Do they shill their auctions, who knows, (not saying THEY personally do) but the evidence would suggest quite a few of the people who consign their cards to them do. It is the nature of the beast. When people sell on consignment... -

Pretty astounding really. As Ryan said that card should be around 1-2 hundred tops. It is /250. crusades or no crusades that is ridiculous... or as the thread would call for... HOLY CRAP!!!!! -
