Yep, kind of what I thought LOL. Probably should have pulled the trigger at the $201 but hopefully it found its way into a Molitor collectors hands.

It was listed at $201. I offered $165 and was countered to the full $201. Then the seller bumped the asking to $251. Not sure what it sold for, but I would bet Ryan is right with the $201. Pretty good price IMO even at the $201. Molitor sells well

Ichiro getting closer to 3'000 ***** Will his stuff take off again!

I was going to disagree with this until I re read and saw the bolded statement. When Griffey was inducted, his stuff has seen a pretty sizeable bump. Not that it wasn't already pretty high but his Raw Upper Deck RC's so a pretty good jump.

1963 Topps Pete Rose RC *Only* PSA 10 To Go Up For Auction

I guess unless you have that kind of my money it is real hard to comprehend. Like real hard.

1963 Topps Pete Rose RC *Only* PSA 10 To Go Up For Auction

Your bolded statement was exactly what I was wondering I am absolutely dumbfounded at the amount of money being tossed around right now. I understand the appeal to vintage cards. But the prices are just unreal. And as AC mentioned if I had 125K laying around a baseball card would be the...

1963 Topps Pete Rose RC *Only* PSA 10 To Go Up For Auction

Well IDK but considering this Brett looks like it is on its way to 6 figures I imagine 250K? Who knows anymore. Vintage has gotten stupid http://www.ebay.com/itm/1975-Topps-George-Brett-ROOKIE-RC-228-PSA-10-GEM-MINT-PWCC-/401132021309?hash=item5d6554e63d:g:C9MAAOSwbYZXVHVg

when I am looking for cards I want I never mind overpaying a little bit. Auctions leave to much chance for me sometimes. You can get great deals but also chance losing out on the card, getting shilled (although i snipe 99% of the time) so I still bid sometimes if that is my only option. If I...

I agree with Chipper 100% . when they offer 1000 free listing I would always list a bunch of stuff. I also refuse to pay to lsit. I havent received one on a while though (over a month). When I do though most to sell but some with high BINs. I dont see a problem with it. I guess my take on...

    Ebay

Yeah, that is something thats bugs me a bit too. I list some of my stuff pretty darn high. But that is stuff I don't really care to move unless I get a GREAT/Ridiculous price. But I also let the buyer know as much when they inquire. Although some buyer think that all sellers should be a...

Mike Witt #702 New York Yankee error card

Your very 1st line is spot on. The minute the amount of cards found was announced it detroyed exponentially the value of this card. That is one hoard I would have kept in the dark if trying to maximize profit. either way it is an amazing find and congrats to the OP but value was for sure...

    Ebay

You are 100% AC, the auctions are where you can find the deals. As for the stupid BIN, I think you have to take into effect that a lot of people are in no rush to sell and figure why not list it and if someone chooses to pay there asking price then that is what they are willing to sell it for...

Max Bid vs Final Price - Biggest Difference You've Had

Great Pickup!!.. I was very surprised how low that one went for. I was tempted to bid, but glad I didn't, cause I would have just jacked your price up and not won it.. :D

    Ebay

The auction format opens yourself up to sell cards for much cheaper than through the BIN format. There a lot of people looking for steals to flip. (not a bad or good thing) just the reality. That is a chance many sellers dont want to take IMO. It can work in reverse but in my experience that...

Try to figure this one out

When I see who is getting these "record" prices, I just shrug my shoulders and say whatever. Maybe they are ALL legit sales and I am just being cynical. I do find it funny that now mulitple sellers have Jacked their prices to 18-20k. when those start selling around the big guys record...

Max Bid vs Final Price - Biggest Difference You've Had

I have a few 1) Bid 350 on a 98 prized jeter won it for $100. 2) Bid 400 on a Sean Taylor /10 card and won it for 100 as well. People hyped it up so much that people were scared to bid I suppose.

Picked up a few low end Jeter inserts but Love the Elite Prized. Harder than I would have thought to track down. Seller had it listed right but the wrong picture. He told me it was the prized so I trusted him. Came in today and sure is the prized. Apparently someone else bought his base...
