Yeah, no doubt. And half what it went for in 2008 ... when I vastly underestimated what it would go for and my snipe didn't work. I've overpaid on so much Bronson Arroyo stuff that it's nice to get a break now and again. -

Btw, shipping was $6 on the logoman, which I guess pushes it over the $50 mark (to answer an above question about whether they go that low; I was shocked I got it for what I did. My snipe was roughly 4x that). -

The weeks leading up to Ripken breaking the record were pretty cool with them counting down the numbers in the middle of the 5th inning every game. My uncle bought about a week's worth of games around the record breaker at the start of the season so I was there quite a bit. -

2130 2131 Ripken's last game in Baltimore Ripken's last game period (at Yankee Stadium; game never ended. Was suspended in like the 15th inning tied 1-1 bc of rain) First game back in DC in 2005. Strasburg's first game. -

Jay's was my store when I was in college. It was great when it was on York Road in Towson and pretty good even after the move to Timonium, but you could tell they were moving more toward memorabilia. There's a great moments in Frederick near where I live now, which unfortunately is the only shop... -

First one was Collector's World in Gaithersburg, Md. in 85-86. It was near a restaurant my mom liked to go to so I was lucky to find it as a 7 or 8 year old. It had a ton of cards and comics, and I can still vividly remember the smell of cardboard when I would convince my parents to take me... -
