best way to ship to Japan safely?

Also, I was told by a Topps rep that they inserted redemptions into a product after only having sent (sent!) requests to the player's rep for autographs. It's one thing if you have to put in redemption cards because a player that has signed a contract has not yet returned his cards. It's... -

Area Code/xxx Premium?
I paid a premium once for a Vanderbilt related card that was numbered 1873/2000. School was founded that year. I'd probably pay a premium for a 615/XXXX as well--Nashville area code. Nice thing about both is that it requires by definition a high-numbered card, so it'd never be too expensive. -

Discounted Target blaster
it strikes me as incredibly depressing that there are so many pete rose autographs out there that targets have to discount them from $20 to get people to bite. I mean, great for collectors (in a sense), since it gives us the chance to get his autograph cheaply, but there is something weird... -

HOF pitching stats?
What if it turns out he was hurt these past few years? Or what say he has a couple 15-7 seasons in his early-mid 30s, with around 1 k/inning, and an era under 3.50? I mean, if no one was as dominant for those 5-6 years as Koufax, no one was as dominant as Big Time Timmy Jims in those 2-3 years. -

What about Lincy? A stretch of 2 Cys in 4 rather dominant years. If he has a couple more above average seasons, is he in on a Koufax theory (short term utter dominance)? I argue with my fellow sabr losers on whether or not he is a candidate quite often, actually. -

No kidding. a BGS 9.5 Orange Red auto just sold for $185. Less than similar cards of Wong, CJ Cron, Joe Panik, Garin Cecchini, and Mark Sanchez (numbered to 15, but still). I would assume he'll get more starts and a chance to be in a pennant run. You can't watch the highlights and think... -
