Yeah Eriah Hayes wasn't drafted either, so it's a good deal for him. I hope he can do well and actually get to play in the NHL. I'm sure he's heading to the AHL Worcester Sharks for a bit though.
I'm sure he'll have tons of offers... will just be a matter of where he ends up. Ohio State would be wise to find the funds and pony up for him. There's also a rumor Wisconsin could can Eaves and pick up Gwoz. Whoever gets him though, it will cost, and I think only the Big 10 schools have the...
Yeah, 12 20+ wins in those 19 seasons, back to back national champs in 2004 and 2005, been in the NCAA tourney almost every year since those. I mean they are 1-6 for their tourney record since the championships, but I can't name many other programs that have that kind of success!
Wow Denver fired their head coach... I thought this was an April Fools joke at first. Who goes and fires one of the best current coaches in college hockey?
Wisconsin is done, down 3-0 going into 3rd... they don't have the offense to get that one back. Watching the NoDak vs. Niagara game now. NoDak looks sloppy

I think if Wisconsin can beat Lowell though, they will make it to the Frozen Four, Denver has hung it up for the year and I think UNH is overrated. If North Dakota beats the Gophers in their regional, I think they will win the Frozen Four. At any rate, I believe the champion this year will be...
I've got Boston College vs. Mankato and Lowell vs. Minnesota for the Frozen Four... and sadly, Minnesota taking it.
I really think Mankato can handle Miami, and I think Notre Dame will take care of SCSU as they pretty much always choke this time of year. Notre Dame will be a tough match...
Not really anthems... but the Alaska Fairbanks Nanooks always had "awesome" openings...

Mankato has a tough regional ahead of them... hopefully Miami rolls over and plays dead like they did for Michigan, and the Mavs don't suck it up like they did against Wisconsin.
WCHA tourney will be in Grand Rapids, MI for 2014, then back at the X for 2015. They will be alternating between those 2 sites. The Big 10 tourney will be at Joe Louis arena for 2015, and will be alternating between there and the X.
I was surprised when the NCHC announced the Target Center...
Big day for the Mavs!
The WCHA awards were announced Thursday afternoon, and Mike Hastings was named the league's Coach of the Year, while goaltender Stephon Williams was named Rookie of the Year, First Team All-WCHA and to the league's All-Rookie Team.
Senior forward Eriah Hayes and sophomore...
