Last 5 decades most FAMOUS cards?

In theory the 00 Pujols Chrome should be the most famous card from that era, as he is the best player from that decade. . . but how often does that card get talked about? Prospecting has gotten to the point where guys often want to move on to the next big thing instead of doubling back and...

    Another Dream Come True!!!

Me too. I took a long break from my 1990 score auto projects but I'm having the itch again, I think Jose 3ish cards in the set.

DONT KNOW WHICH IS WORSE THE AL EAST OR THE NL EAST?

Remember how I said the Mariners are the most disappointing team? They go out there with their best pitcher on the mound vs a team whos lost 7 in a row and get smashed 10-0. Felix makes it 1/3IP 8R ... what a joke.

DONT KNOW WHICH IS WORSE THE AL EAST OR THE NL EAST?

To me the most disappointing division is the AL West... it was incredibly close to having 3 playoff teams last year and others were improving. 1st Astros- I young team that got off to a fast start, they were bound to implode... 7 losses in a row suggests that might be before the allstar...

    Noob needs help

Yeah, if you didn't get any autos then a HOF QB parallel was probably the best. Another good thing to know is that price guides are fun to look at and are good estimates, but past ebay results is always a superior way to find a cards value.

    FS Small Booklet Lot

He is a big Michael Jackson fan... I bet he would like something with... say.... more than 3 colors. Then again, JV35 is also a big wrestling fan.....

A lot of the blasters have similar pull odds to retail, where they don't guarantee autos and have a much harder time with rare parallels. In terms of what pulls are the best- rookie autos, rookie parallels, rookie parallel autos, parallel autos of stars, multi color patch cards(the more color...

    Noob needs help

Welcome to FCB and cards in general. I probably will make a more in depth post later, but right now I want to get one important advice out of the way- When buying boxes find out if redemptions are in it, and when they expire. Avoid expired redemption boxes like the plague!!

Luckily there are so many stick autos if they don't replace you could get a cheap base Pedroia and rip it off.

Albert Pujols and the fountain of youth

Bonds age 24-27 season (what many would consider a mans physical prime) he averaged 28 home runs. It wasnt until the next year that he had his first really good season. Pujols during that span averaged 42hr. I don't think its suspicious that Pujols is powering up to a 35ish hr season at age...

Albert Pujols and the fountain of youth

The greatest RH bat ever... or at least that I've ever seen. Funny thing is he is in his age 35 season and Bonds had his BS 73hr at age 36 season. Going into his age 36 season he will probably have 55-60 more hrs than Bonds.

How do you sign up at blowout cards

The best BO conversation I ever had. Keep in mind this is an actual conversation. me: I see you collect X, want to buy X for $50? (which was worth 50) him: hmm, haha... idk. the first one I got from a pack and the second as a bday gift, so not sure about that price. If the first was $3 and the...

Nice, Roosevelt I take it? I remember going to the arcade in the 90s with my dad one time.. I never got to play those games much and was very excited when he pulled out $200 and asked for change..... then we left. Turns out he was just combing for silver quarters  He found heaps in the...

[Silvertowne Auction House] "We believe them to be original..."

After looking at the BBB it appears Silvertowne Auctions is not in the same state as Silvertowne Coins, so I am thinking they are either different people or overseen by a different manager. Silvertowne Coins has a BBB rating of A+ which doesn't surprise me. These card people though are unrated...

Topps has pushed me over the edge with this nonsense. I am done with MLB cards

Its funny how easy they make it to see 3 autos per box!! yet redemption and redemption expiration dates are tricky to find... maybe they should be more honest and say - 2 autos per box and 1 iou* *iou may be completely void, completely changed, or take 5 years Either way I don't buy from...

[Silvertowne Auction House] "We believe them to be original..."

They are one of the biggest coins/metals dealers, and are definitely legit... its sad when a company expands into something they're clueless about.
